Oops, thanks I will change it, it should of course be a txt

Is it possible to have a hide or collapse button on the History block to collapse it once expanded and viewed?

Yes it is possible and it is in fact already implemented. I already received an email about if this was possible and I modified the script today. But I don

I want to add the PayPal donate button, having created the button on paypal do I put the whole of the HTML code generate into the Setup page? It seems to have a lot of code including the button image?

No, that HTML is already built in the template, you only need to insert the code, in setup.php PayPal field, I for example have: “79CFMDQ6XABHL”

Hi guys,

I hope you are enjoying Friday afternoon.

New block - Extremes
I have created a new block. I noticed most of you prefer blocks that use your own station data and another advantage of this is that you do not rely on any external data source.

So here is another interesting block called simply

Hi Jachym,
The new extreme block is not returning any data.
Please see what is my problem.

Thanks,

Try re-downloading it, Im not sure why it didnt work, but I changed one thing

OK sorry for that, it was the station data block causing it. There was a clash in variable names, I did not have the station data block in the version where I tested, but it should be ok now.

Redownloaded the extreme block and it is working.

Hi guys,

I hope you had a nice weekend.

Hi, does anyone using these templates have a Boomsky and the block displaying it? Thinking about getting one but wanted to see a few before I decide. I have looked at some of the users on the bloomsky site. Or is there an alternative web cam popular with meteotemplate users?

You would use the normal webcam block, you probably meant the Bloomsky plugin

Example of that would be for example here:

Getting my blocks and plugins confused!! thanks for that. it looks good. Next problem is convincing the wife that its worth me spending the money!! Now that’s a big problem

LOL… yes, and Im afraid I cant help you with that

Not sure if its my internet but there seems to be a problem with your meteotemplate index page not loading properly, for me it either doesn’t load at all or when it does its not displaying normally. The other pages seem ok just theindex page with the issue.
Phil

I dont see any problem, you also should specify what exactly you mean by “not loading properly”. No-one reported anything and I myself dont see any problem either (at work, at home…). Can you be more specific?

Just checked again and it seems to be fine now. Earlier the picture below the title was offset to the left and Hiding half the METEOTEMPLATE word, also the first time I went there today it just wasn’t loading at all, just a blank page. Maybe just a glich somewhere in the connection, but all seems ok now.

Hi guys,

I have created a new plugin, which is basically an extension to the already available statistics regarding wind direction.

The plugin is divided into two pages. One shows monthly stats, the other one groups the data by years. What you then see is a break down of the wind direction, but rather than giving you the average direction calculated by averaging the degrees number in database, it groups data into 16 categories (N, S, W, E, NW, …).

It includes tables, wind roses and I also got an idea of overlaying this over a Google map to allow better visualization of where exactly the wind is blowing from.

The plugin requires no installation and can be used out of the box, just adding a link to the menu, please let me know if there are any problems or just that it works.

Enjoy

Jachym
