Looking for a UV sensor. The new ones are priced crazy for a vp2. I’m pretty sure my hobby boards UV sensor is toast.

Mine went and bit the dust also when water got into the enclosure that I had. Guess that you know that HB does not sell those any more and is not going to find a replacement. I was in contact with Eric about this and we tried to solve my issue with it but I just gave up and bit the wallet and bought the Davis UV and Solar sensor from www.scaledinstruments.com. Ryan kinda gave be a quote that I could afford. Now I have a VP2 Plus.

I did find a UV sensor for about $100 less than the page you posted.

Good that you found a place that was cheaper. Hope that it is the new type of sensor. The newer ones have a different ridge around the top of the sensor. Where did you find the different source?

Yes, but you’ll need to make a mounting of some kind if you don’t also buy the “shelf” (I would DIY it).
