The bottom graph was created by a station running other station software that does this, not sure on the rules, so it starts with C. They seem to have this behaviour by default, I guess it’s so graphs look prettier with the max gust always there, this is why I said my suggestion is purely aesthetical for me or some other person who likes to see “cleaner” data on graphs (and with more info given you would have max gust of last 5/10 mins there), and if it is not too hard to add (if it ever happened) it could be a toggle.
