WD 246.
About 2am, WD stopped updating clientraw.
Found out this morning.
It also produced a window that said Authentication required. Log in required WHEN trying to load WDL on the webpage.
I freaked. Thought it was a server issue.
It also interrupted WL from uploading to the server and made WL crash.
Maybe it was having problems getting info from VVP.
So I upgraded, and all is fine. Just to let you know-things get weird.
Version 266 has been crashing and not playing well with other.
I reinstalled 252 and it has been 20 minutes without an issue.
I think sometimes the stacks get loaded and the program either has to be restarted or the computer rebooted. Although I haven’t seen that happen much since I started with Windows 7 a long time ago it seems.
Funny, on a side note, I got this computer with the intention of using it for writing the volumes of IEPs, I even got a double tray laser printer so I wouldn’t have to stop in mid printing. that branched off to instead of racing to the copy room at school, running off what I needed for class . Now the printer sits in the basement, I have a fax/printer/scanner on the the desk and the only thing going on is WeatherDisplay, Weatherlink, and Blue Iris.
Sometimes a reboot works, another thing, for some odd reason, I can fuss with all day with a problem on Weatherdisplay and magically at midnight it goes away.

I am going to let this run for a few days and then make the change
then do a clean install
there should be no need to do a clean install
(or, maybe you could elaborate on exactly what you mean by that??

delete the other installs and install 247

I had b81 installed then it was shutting of at 9pm every night.
I installed a new b81 in a different folder and it did not shut down. then did upgrades there…
It worked fine until 266.
No big deal. Just need the time.
Saved all data
deleted old versions
installed 268
Physical memory has dropped from 98% to 55% (may have been part of the issue
ok so far about 4 hours

re memory use dropping…do you mean you had more than 1 version of WD running in memory?
the task manager had memory running at 95-97% Just one WD instance running.
also running WDL, VVP, startwatch, Weather link and Chrome.
Now, the memory is running 48% that is normal.
