Rain gauge bucket value
« on: October 19, 2004, 06:44:58 PM »
Hello,

I've a La Crosse WS2500 and WS2500 PC logger and it has been raining a lot this week. It looks like the rain value (daily and monthly) are 30% higher in WD than on my W2500.
Is there a setting in WD to specify the rain gauge bucket content so I can match it to the WS2500 setting ?

Thanks,
Olivier.

There's an adjustment in
- Setup
- Control Panel
- Barometer offset Other offsets rainfall setup

Where you can adjust the tip.  Is that what your looking for?

Should I use the one in the View/WS2500 data setup or the one incontrol panel/setup/baro.... ?

Also can you tell me what the default bucket value is within WD ?
For the WS2550, the true bucket value (one tip) is 300ml. If you can tell me what WD is using It will be easier to know how much % to adjust than to go thru a bunch of trials...

Thanks,
Oliver.

its 0.36
in the program
for the ws2500 type station, use the rain % offset under setup, control panel, barometer offsets and rainfal
(as the one on the ws2010/ws2500 data setup screen i only hooked in to use with a ws2010-13 data logger)
