Extending time for movie maker

Right now WD moviemaker is only making movies from 5 am to about 10 pm.  Is there any way to extend the length of that movie?   

I am getting a real nice view of the moon rising and setting, but the movie is not recording it.  I have pictures but it seems to generate the movie and omit the night shots.
