First air show this year

Then it's time for the first air show this year, it's a large program on Saturday.

All battery's and memory cards are prepared for this event.

Thanks for reminding me to check when my local show is on. Got to wait until 8th/9th September this year.

I don't actually go to the show which is about 30 miles away. I find it much better (and zero cost!) to stand on a large sandhill next to the end of the runway at my local airport (2 miles away). The airport is the marshalling point for all the show aircraft and the sandhill is a great place to get good pics of the planes as they fly past fairly slowly along a known path just after take off

A useful web page. Looks like I might get my first sighting of the Red Arrows on Sunday. They'll probably fly out of our airport to the show further up the coast.
