I think a lot of people are just wanting a 1 click option to post to FB rather going through twitter first. Just my opinion.

yes exactly especially as not everyone uses Twitter

Just as an aside I originally was posting my Updates to Facebook through Twitter but I received 4 separate complaints from "Friends" LOL that the weather updates were annoying...

In fact I set up a Twitter User and Feed just for my Weather reports so that folks that followed me but didn't want the weather reports (what good does my local weather do for folks that live 100's of miles away) didn't have to deal with them...  So if you want my weather reports you follow that user specifically for that purpose...

Just saying...
