Saw a windspeedbug, shows 10 min average as 20 m/s when max gust are just 12 m/s.

That is the value WD must have been supplying for %avgspd% = "average wind speed (current)" as that is what is displayed there.

Looking at the available tags, it may be better to use %avwindlastimediate10% = "Average wind for the last immediate 10 minute period", but it looks like that can return non-numeric values i.e. "-"

If value used is not moddficated in any way (else than possible converted to m/s if in knots orginally, not sure w/o checking when use custom tags) it must be a bug in WD then, as average of 20 m/s should not even be possible if maxgust are 12 m/s. From what i saw it changed on almost every update and went up to 23 m/s (maxgust still at 12 m/s).

At the moment its shows 5.9 m/s when Gust (10min) shows 0.6 m/s.

So something are really wrong there.

The tag list does not specify the units, generally this seems to mean that the tag is in 'station' units - but I do not have or use WD to check these things.

Checked and, yes, the wrong value comes from WD, not the steelseries.
