question:
is the clientraw.txt file being updated every few seconds on your hard drive?

update a little erratic, (varies from 4 up to 11 seconds on my side, when I am using version 95, this update occurs between 3 - 4 seconds)

maybe I could just use the original method in the new compiler, since that seemed to work OK

It did work well. Are there advantages to using the current clientrawrealtimeftp vs the original one? Also, if you do revert back to the original will that impact the realtimeftp2 you have provided?

I'm looking forward to the release with the new compiler when it's ready...  :)

the good thing about the new one was you could easily see it working visualy
instead of runnning as a terminal program
I can get the 2nd real time working via the original terminal program method

Is it possible the new one work better with the new compiled version, or would it not make a difference. If theres a chance it would work well then I would be willing to try it out.

aftr 2 hard weeks
670,000 lines of code
now on the last part of the program to convert
hoping to get it finished today...
at first will just test on windows, then change to cross compile (might be some things broken that I will need to fx)
the wife is going to take me away from the PC tomorrow for a break though, with the kids....
