no problems like that here
Was WD running during the month change over reset period?
(ideal if it is)

i suppose only at midnight these actions are taken.
So the pc must be running at midnight for these numbers to be updated.
This is true for many parameters like calenders, end of days end of month and end of year.
At least that is what i learn from the many posts on this forum.

Corretc me if i am wrong.

not true for all data resets
is true for a few, like sunshine hours (which resets after midnight)

for best results make sure to have WD running all the time (and this will resolve other issues Eleebana has by only running WD for a few hours a day), or at least during a month change over period

Pity about that. I do not intend to run this all the time.
Why cant this be reset at midnight when down loading like the rest ?
Does this also apply to the other 2 threads I have listed (Advanced graph trend and Temp trend) /

Probably, WD is a piece of software excelling in possibilities  , but not in the absence of oddities, " features"
or even bugs .
As WD is a one man show , you cannot expect the same support performance as
with real commercial software :?. Brian is very willing to fix bugs when the cause of
the problems is clear . He is not really ready to spend days in finding obscure faults
but prefers adding features  #-o.
One can discuss if that is the best thing to do, but the fact is there.
If you want (and this is addressed to eleebana) your problems to be fixed, try
to find out why your errors happen, address them as good as possible
dive into the data files and look for clauses on this forum.
Try to find others with the same problem.
You can be angry about a commercial product containing errors, but that won't help.
Been there done that. Instead consider this as a common project, that will never be
without (quite a number of ) errors but that will continue to have new features, and will
also have features on request. There are quite a number of examples in WD for that.

That as a fact does not change that i think that Brian should address the problems with
end of month, year, leap year ( if there are) roll-overs, for those user that have their PC Off during the night.
It will save a lot of energy too.

To check the data reset requires that WD runs 24/7 I left it running overnight 29/2 to 1/3. The sun hours on this graphic did not change. The hours for the month and the hours for the year still only show hours for the year for both. The table showing monthly hours is correct. So it is the graphic display that does not update how ever I run the program.

it has reset here no problems, WD was running 24/7
under view, sunshine hours

you need to wait until 9:15am on the 1st day though
(at which stage the month total is set to the current day total)

I think that has been the problem in the past then...not having WD running at that particular time
