./consolewd: No such file or directory
« on: January 31, 2012, 12:28:32 PM »
I wanted to redo the computer running W-D and thought linux would be a good choice, even though I'm new to linux. I loaded Ubuntu server 11.10 and I'm having problems getting WD Linux console to run. I get the following error

./GoWdconsole.sh: line 27: ./consolewd: No such file or directory

Any ideas would be helpful

this has been discussed before, trying using the advanced search
its seems to be a problem with relative paths in your linux setup or similar

Thanks Brian
I did find the issue. I was running 64 bit Linux your WDconsole is 32 bit. Changed to 32 bit and the issue went away.

suggestion:
On page www.weather-display.com/files.php change to Weather Display for Linux console 32 bit version

This would have helped me and I'm sure others.

James

sure is an obscure error report then
it could have said, bad image, or something instead

Hello, installing ia32 seemed to solve it.
apt-get install ia32-libs as well as copying the libs from deploy to /lib + a ldconfig
