Summary.jpg
« on: January 27, 2012, 07:22:06 AM »
My Davis VP2 (with U/V & Solar) has had to be returned under warranty and I have been using a stationless system using local Metar readings.  The Solar readings on the Summary have now changed to large font and I would like to either revert to a default format, learn how to reduce the Solar font or should I wait until the Davis is back and it might return to it's original settings itself.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes, I have restated and have the current version installed (today).
It seemed to go wrong when I had to go Stationless when using Metar.
I once learned how to alter the summary.  I can move the Solar wording around and if I could reduce the font all would be well.
That is why I wondered if the summary layout could go back to the default.
I have since gone back to the Davis setting and allowed the Metar to input Temp, Baro, Rain. Wind but the large font remains.

If you mean the settings on the Universal Main Screen Icon Setup/Summary Image then the only ticks in the Background/JPG Quality is the bottom one 'Use JPG instead of gif image.
I did send a second email zipping the two files from Action/Backup but will do that again shortly.

I see the problem from your settings

you need to reset the data font

in the control panel, summary image and icon setup

to a bit smaller

also I see in your settings you have set to use lots of different data from a download metar
do you mean to have that all set?
