Metar icon not updating
« on: January 19, 2012, 09:21:25 PM »
I have upgraded to the latest version of WD (10.37R B-07) and since then I have some problems,
1. Metar icon - the icons shows the right conditions for several seconds and then reverts to "Day dry/wet " or "Night dry/wet" (http://www.evweather.info/wxindex.php?lang=en)

2. WXSIm icons are also not showing (http://www.evweather.info/wxsimforecast.php?lang=en)

I haven't changed anything in the script settings or station settings, just did the upgrade.
Thanks
Eli

Two weeks ago I sent my Davis VP2 for repair and for the time being I had been using my local EGLC Metar for weather updates. I have bee using build 07 with various regular updates (now updated to 08).  During this period the Metars have stopped updating via a schedule and using the TEST button.  I cleared out the Metar files as some were from old Metar Stations and no EGLC files are now being created. My system is set to stationless and it was once working during these two weeks.  Has something changed I wonder?

I have just cleared out the Metar codes in the box below 'Remove Selected metar'.  I then started again and selected the Metar from the full list and EGLC.TXT has appeared. (Previously I was missing the .TXT) The folder C:/wdisplay/metar now contains two files EGLC.met & EGLClog.met.  My current reading changed immediately using the TEST button.  Hopefully all is well again.
