it wont be the usbexpress mode problem, if LWC is working
what shows when you type
ls /dev/tty.*
in a terminal window?
the Mac USB driver should show up there
try manualy entering that into the com port setup
then save then restart

you should be able to then enter
/dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART

in the manual entry in the com port setup
This worked OK for someone just the other day

make sure the other settings are set OK (weather station type setup, Davis VP, baud rate, etc)
then restart WD and then see what shows under view, WS2010/WS2500 data setup

Got it!!!  I need to PROPERLY fill out the station setup screen...
