Any suggestions
« on: December 15, 2011, 06:55:36 PM »
Hi,

Now that my website and weather station have been going for a year I wondered whether anyone had any ideas on how to make my site any better. The site has already come a long way from the rather amateur looking html page created using weatherlink to the current php format which uses Kens and Scotts scripts. I am currently in the process of getting wxsim and weather emails sorted out for the site. I just wondered whether anyone had any further suggestions. The web address is: www.gosportweather.co.uk

You might try making your yowindow forecast better by using a scene representing your local area as I have done here: http://stillwaterweather.com/animatedforecast1.php#Animated  However, a downside is that only the sky part of the picture will be animated.

You might also add an earthquake page, too.  When there is an earthquake of unusual intensity in my state, it really drives up the traffic to my earthquake page.   I had over 11,000 hits within 24 hours after a magnitude 5.6 quake hit last month.
