Well tbh, I think I am starting to get a handle on it. I understand how the web folder should be laid out when you unzip the template etc. Have read the instructions on the links you provided and my eyes don't gloss over when reading them now.

I got the MATAR working (had forgotten the .txt initially). I have successfully updated my main apache web server to  handle PHP. Zipped up my working web folder (as backup). I am going to attempt to get Saratoga working on the main WD/Web server setup (this may take me awhile to get going, stand by).

Thanks Steve so much for coming on and having a look on my computer. Least we have an idea on my problem.

Guess the problem I am having is Saratoga PHP files will not work. Yet the generated PHP file by WD works fine (in the Web Files #1). If I copy the source from another persons front page and put it in...it loads up (of course not entirely properly)..but it loads vs no loading at all.

Can anyone think of a reason why the Saratoga PHP files wouldn't load? Some setting?

I am learning lots...my head hurts a little...but I am learning.

I take it that you have PHP available on the home server?
If HTML pages are working and PHP one's are not then I would check that first.

Have a look at Ken's PHP test page and run through that: http://saratoga-weather.org/scripts.php#PHPTest

Would running PHP Version 6.0.0-dev cause any issues? It is the version I am running.

Here's from Kens site.."you should make sure that your site is configured to run PHP5+ for all .php pages."

Just though I would make an update...it is working  :D, needs some tweaking of course.

http://mahutaweather.no-ip.org/

Seems the problem was with the version of PHP I was running. Doesn't like PHP 6.0 for some reason. After I downgraded 6.0 to 5.2 page came up. I did a little dance when it worked :wav:

Thnks for the help. And thank you even more to n7xrd and Ken.
