the video shows the turbine turning right around, and so it ended up going backwards....
I wonder if that was the problem

I think it was totally out of control, perhaps even the compass point brake was broken too, and more than just the nacelle was on fire... the hydraulics and/or lube circuits must have caught alight too - a real major.

Down to 951.7 mb (28.113 inches), a record for my station, at the moment and still falling in Stornoway.
The centre of this low looks like it will pass over the top of us in the next few hours so it may get lower still.

At least we're not getting the wind up here, for a change.  :D

OK, so this Low has surpassed my all time record Low pressure by 6 mb now and is still falling.
I'm reading 948.1 mb (28.000 inches) and it's fallen off the bottom of the barograph paper here in the Coastguard Station and off my graph below:

That's it bottomed out at 947.2 mb and it's now rising slowly.
Nice sunny patch in the sky above us at the moment too.  :D

WOW
that is super low pressure for a mid latitute depression!
we only see a 945hpa occasionaly go past south of NZ, south of the Tasman sea in the southern ocean!
