Tom,
The word 'METAR' is common, but the use of METAR in WD is not related to the METAR stations that can be displayed in the wxmetar.php template page.

You only need one WD Metar configured, and it will be used to show sky conditions for your station (when not overridden by local rain/wind/fog or Solar sensor).

The wxmetar.php page has an internal configuration for you to specify the set of METARs you'd like to display on that page.  Use the find nearby METAR page to generate the list for inclusion into wxmetar.php .. it also shows you the closest one to your station (in the top list box), and that METAR ICAO is the one you should use in WD for your station's conditions (as shown here).

Hope this helps...

Best regards,
Ken

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the information and quick reply. I was locked out of the Forum late yesterday and was unable to respond. As I suspected I was over thinking how to pull in the metar locations and was trying to make this harder than it should have been.

Thanks as always for you help!!!
