I see by your post count on both forums that you are a bit new to this crowd. Are you aware that there is a website template that literally hundreds of websites all across the world use. It is called The Carterlake template and is distributed by Saratoga Weather. So, if you were to make a set that would integrate into this template, you might have many folks interested.
Many of these sites do not have a white background. So either a transparent background, or the entire icon having some color is preferable - like in the 2 example icons you made for day & night.
This is a list of the file names that the template uses and the condition description. It is also the list used on the comparison page. Obviously, we would have to change the jpg to gif in our files. It would be good to have a set that matches this array.
