About that, what’s meaning of bkn and nbkn?
We should make a double copy of some icons to work in the night too.
f.e. wind, snow, rain ecc.
What number of icons do you assign at isolated_showers.gif?

Alessandro

So I tried to match up the existing icon set with your new animated set according to the array used in the template set. This is what I came up with:(excuse the formatting ) You can also see how they look with the different color webpage themes.
I really like the animation that you came up with. I don’t mean to be difficult, but I think they need a bit more work. :?
Can I recommend the following ideas?
The icons have a lot of white area. Can you have the picture take up more space or add a bit of a background color. For example day would have a sky blue and night would be black with a few white stars?
I see where you took off the wording, but now that is just blank white space. Also numbers 17 & 32 still have some wording.
Your set does not provide icons for numbers 7, 10, 11, 34 & 35. As you can see, some are used twice.
Thanks,
Dave
Great comparison!
How about we agree and tell me how you want to change the script so I do a set just for you?
Might be a good alternative to the static icons.
A little example…
Yes, Those look great!
I would add them to the comparison page now, but I am running late to a Titans football game.
I will upload them later.
Ok, i made this icons in this pixel format for the ajax script
Please Paolo,
could you make the others icons actually missing?
Ciao grande,
Alessandro

I don’t know about making them just for me. I see by your post count on both forums that you are a bit new to this crowd. Are you aware that there is a website template that literally hundreds of websites all across the world use. It is called The Carterlake template and is distributed by Saratoga Weather. So, if you were to make a set that would integrate into this template, you might have many folks interested.
Many of these sites do not have a white background. So either a transparent background, or the entire icon having some color is preferable - like in the 2 example icons you made for day & night.
This is a list of the file names that the template uses and the condition description. It is also the list used on the comparison page. Obviously, we would have to change the jpg to gif in our files. It would be good to have a set that matches this array.

Looking good!
Now, I just need some time to play.
Hello,
First of all I liked your icon set, thanks for the great work. I would like to ask if it is possible for you to change the background color to transparent? That would make your icon set perfect for use.
Thanks alot.
Hi,
thanks for your compliments
Well, for the transparent background i need more time and in this moment i made the other ajax icons…
After this works i will be made the transparent icons set
