Hmmm... you are on the Mac version? Windows here, but I upgraded to v10.37Q-55 from build 51 this evening and my first data sent to CWOP was SLP and not altimeter. I have not noticed this before.

There is a thread specific to the negative spike problem here.  I still need to test build 55 myself...for me I only see the spike after rebooting my computer.  A normal restart of WD so far hasn't produced the spike for me, I have done 3 upgrades to WD and so far no spike.  I will do a test now and see if I can dupe the problem with build 55.

Yes, running on an iMac computer with WD running under Parallels.

Since I started this thread I have since moved my wx station to a new location that is very close to sea level.  I'll leave the topic open in case someone else has the same problem.

Just for the record I asked him about how he handles altitude differences and he says he ignores them and that if your station has a significant altitude difference from surrounding stations then the analysis data will not be accurate.    The QC analysis graphs at at the University of Utah mesowest site are adjusted for altitude and therefor more accurate.
