this new version uses a special type of ini file, for the WD data and settings storage
one that is buffered in memory and then updated to the HD every 10 minutes (alot of data was onlu updated that often anyway), or when WD is exited, via setup,save and exit
lots of benefits, like reduced HD writes, no more problems with virus scanners conflicting with the file (and then getting a cant write to wdisplay.ini file)
should also see much less other memory related problems (and access violations, etc)
also WD runs faster too
important data like current rain totals and max windspeed is updated to the regsitry as that occurs, so will not be lost if a power cut , and the data had not updated to the HD
so, a recommended update
