I think I’ve weeded out all of the issues introduced by upgrading so many of the WML/GFS data provider support components when moving to the new server, so it’s now time to move the live system over. I plan to do this on Sunday 24th April 2011 starting at approx 09:00 UK time. I’m not sure exactly how long the WML/GFS data system will be unavailable for, but I’d expect it to be off for up to an hour to allow me to transfer the data, upgrade the database format and test the system out on the server out.
The system may be accessible to users during the migration period and should provide valid data (although possibly slightly older than normal) as I work on it. However, if you see any strange things happening between when I post in the forum to say the migration has started and completed, please don’t report them as they’re probably just due to the incomplete migration.
