WS2350 - W7 64bit ultimate - start up - missing data

Having continually updated WD since purchase I was pleased to see that the you had fixed the start up issue in the WS2310 (version notes); However I see from my machine that although the startup log is popping up the data is still not being read hence I have missing data. 

I leave my machine on to overcome this but it is an irritant any other time.  I remember a month or two back Brian did state in the forum that the start up data program does not work under windows 7. Looking through the forum there are a large number of W7 users and naturally we must be all be suffereing from missing data.

May I ask if there are now plans to get this working or is there some technical workaround that we can use to ensure date catch up?

Have check through forum and reviewed my settings to ensure compliance hence the email for an update.

the 3rd party program used, histlog2300
only works on XP

so you will need to leave WD runnning

its an opensource project
so someone in the know could get it work with W7

Dog Days:
I have just upgraded to a W7 PC and was puzzled that I could not pick up log data.  Do you know if anybody has picked up this issue?  I switch off my PC when not in use so it is a real pain that I now have big gaps in my weather data.  I don't want to replace my WS2350 - it is basic but it works - so I hope somebody will take up the gauntlet!
