Hello folks. I'm having trouble reporting data in climatedataout12012.html from January 6-31 (see attached screenshot). I just noticed this a couple of days ago and waited until the month-end processes completed hoping it would clear up. but...

Also, the dailynoaareport12012.htm is missing data from January 31.

I have checked the log files (12012lg.txt, 12012lg2.txt) and all the data seems to be there.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm probably in the wrong area since I don't think the problem is specifically related to Murry's reports but that is how I first noticed the problem.

One thing I've noticed over the past 2-3 days: if I create a new Climatedataout12012.html file each day, one additional day is added to the January snow data. e.g. When creating the climatedataout12012 file today (Feb 7), there is snow data from January 1-6. When I created the file yesterday (Feb 6), there was snow data from January 1-5, and when I created the file the day before that there was snow data from January 1-4.

Seems like a weird problem and I'm not even sure how to describe it properly.

This sounds like the problem reported in the topic at http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php/topic,53989.0.html

This does sound like the same problem. I'll pick up that thread.

Thanks again for great scripts/reports.

Much appreciated. Arnie

OK, time for a real stupid question....

Here are the settings to ensure that dailynoaareport.htm gets uploaded?

I see it there but I am having a problem with my reports. March is filled with data up to the 23rd

Here are the settings to ensure that dailynoaareport.htm gets uploaded?

I see it there but I am having a problem with my reports. March is filled with data up to the 23rd

In Weather Display, select View->Averages/Extremes/Noaa Style Reports. Select the tab at the top of the screen that says Noaa Reports/Email Reports/Uploads/Print. Turn on the option to Upload the Noaa report daily.

To recreate a dailynoaareport for previous months, select View->Averages/Extremes/Noaa Style Reports. Select the NOAA Style Reports tab. Select the month and year to recreate, select Update whole month now. If the data displayed looks correct, click the Update dailynoaareport.htm button. An updated dailynoaareportmyyyy.htm should then be created in the webfiles folder of Weather Display. You will then need to manually upload any updated dailynoaareports for previous months.

I also noticed that you do not have any climatedataout files from September 2011 to February 2012 and that the climatedataout files you do have are using the default climatedata template. If you want to use the Solar, UV, Snow Depth options of the detail/summary scripts, you will need to use one of the updated templates in the wxreports.zip and recreate the climatedataout files for the necessary timeframe. The procedure to recreate climatedataout files is similar to the process to recreate the dailynoaareport files. Just select the Detailed Climate Report tab instead of the Noaa Style Reports tab.

Hi Axelvod,
no, this has not been ticked in my case, now corrected. I've been however recording the snowdepth for the last 12 month, any way to recreate the logs??
I see the last value in the lg2 log line is daily snow input probably, right??

Having just added snow depth pages, I now have this problem. How do I correct the climate data charts which are showing snow depth as 0-100.0? How do I recover the snow depths total I have added this year?

I too had not ticked in daily weather report / snow input.

See current climate data chart - http://www.brackenhouse.net/weather/wxclimate.php?date=climatedataout

I have assumed that snow depth that I had perviously entered is lost and I have re-created the climate data charts for 2012. I have edited the relevant log file for March so that I can start recording snow depth from March 2012.

Not ideal, but nobody died. WD is a fantastic program but there are so many options available that it can become frustrating. I'm glad I don't have to start from scratch.

Since adding snow depth pages, I seem to be getting zero figures on the maximum solar energy and solar kilowatt-hours pages. Prior to adding the snow depth pages, everything seemed to be working correctly. I have figures for today, but these figures are not preserved at the end of day. I have zero figures in the climatedataout files also.

What have I missed?

BTW: On the same day that the pages stopped working, I added the tag ...

Code: [Select]
$todaysolarhrs = '%todaysolarhrs%';
... to the testtags file, having read about it on another thread. Could this have caused the problem?

The sunshine hours are being recorded in 32012lgsun.txt and are being correctly recorded on the sunshine hours report page and the climate data chart.

The solar radiation is being recorded in 32012vantagelog.txt, but is not being picked up by the solar energy page of the climate data chart.

Does this give anyone a clue of what is happening?

I finally found what was wrong with my Solar Max and Solar k/w hours pages. The log file 32012vantagelog.txt file had part of a line missing. I filled this in, saved it and all is now as it should be.

Time for a beer, I think.

Downloaded this package and have been adding the reports but have run into a snag.

The template for the new climatedataout file in the zip file does not have the column
for solar kwh.

Mike,

You need to use the file climatedatasolaruv.html. Rename this to climatedata.html, copy to your directory and recreate the climatedataout file.

ALAN.

That's strange Mike. The file I'm using has that column (see here).
