the difference usually is that in the middle part of the country, the diurnal heating is gone and most severe storms lack the energy provided by the sun to sustain themselves.  That's why OK's fatality rate usually is highest from 1700-2300...

I figured the same, but would think more would die sleeping. Also, tors are geocentric. More overnight tors in AL, than OK, probably due to Gulf feeding later development.

1st chart OK, 2nd AL.

Lee,

My apologies on the download, please try again.  It helps when you put the file where you supposed to.

Thanks John.

I posted my TOR Analysis pg today.
http://www.knology.net/~blackjack52/wxtornalysis.php

Because the db is 200mb, I can't post it, but I can do requests. The State designator in setup quickly swaps the graphics.

I will be swapping Highslide.js into the script too.
I'm also trying to finalize a formula to score your lat/long in respect to touchdowns, therefore providing a 'hotspot' for each State.

I finally completed the calculations to determine distance of all TORs in SPCs db w/in a specified radius of your location.
This has even more potential to develop site specific graphs of EF, Time, and Month of all TORs.

This is a report of Sacrey Wx tornadoes since 1950, w/in 20mi of his lat/long.
