What is the format for the data to CWOP and to weather underground?

Does anyone know the format of the data for CWOP and weather underground?

Also, what is the ip and api to send it to?

Why not just check that out on the CWOP website

I think the format for WU is on their site.

Also consider sending to PWSweather.com.  That format is available on request.

I found the wiki page for weather underground.  And, it's pretty easy to program for.  I'm still scouring the cwop site.  I found the server, but not the file format...

I keep looking, and finding...  But the picture isn't complete.

I've found the server, port number and data format.  I'm just not connecting the dots as to the actual transmission.  Weather Underground uses an HTTP GET request, Pachube uses an HTTP post type of transmission.

Do I just transmit an ascii string to a port on a server?
