All CWOP displayed in google maps

Hi

I've made a page using Google Maps to show all the CWOP weather stations around the world.
The page utilizes the Google clustered marker manager, so the performance is very nice. The marker manager groups the weather stations, so you just see a cluster for stations when you have not zoomed in very much.

The map is available at :

Stations with home pages are marked with red marker, the others with blue marker.

This brings me another question as to what determines whether one has a website and hence the RED markers.

Should I have registered my website?  If so where is this done?
