Hi Guys,

Latest zip  Version on 30 March 2010 - 20:35:03

Now getting power counts :)

When showing,  Power Usage appears to be double?.... compared to my power meter.

Will let it run over night

Cheers
Peter

Hi
it seems that the Power Measurement works fine, but it could be fine with a total KWh / day, ie (pulses * 1/Ration calibration factor).
when you have time to look at it ;-)

Happy Easter

Sorry this is just a repeat of my previous post.

I'm still getting spikes which would be nice to loose.
Kw /hour and Kw /day would also be a nice feature.
Option to choose how often counter is read  1-5 mins.
When you get time Brian and would be much appreciated  :D

Cheers Daniel

I discovered I was applying the time taken for the count across the minute wrong
the latest .zip update fixes the spikes in the readings on the plot :)

Been looking for a method of displaying the power output of my PV solar array inverter
The PVE-1200 inverter has a KWH digital meter that outputs 1 pulse per watt

Connected up a counter and ran a trial of WD ... and it works... looks promising

Unfortunately the watts output in the setup screen is 60 times greater than the actual output while the scale of the graph in the wind direction box looks OK, also the minutes to average reading will only save as one (1)

Can you have a look please Windy.

not really sure what you are trying to explain
can you provide more info/screen shots, etc, maybe?

Attached is the capture of my present setup screen
"Power usage"   current usage is 0.0w (because its dark and this is the output of my PV array
but when active the displayed figure is 60 times higher than the actual output of the PV array

Also I cannot change the "Minutes to average reading" cannot be changed from one (1)  no biggie really

Hope this helps, if not I will try tomorrow when the sun is up

Added possibly a better overall view

The Ratio calibration factor should be 1000 but I decreased that to 250 to get better scaling on the wind direction graph
