do you have a USB data logger?
a few people have reported a lock up problem since build 16 or so
there are unfortunatly different threads on that, so its hard to know who to work with on that issue

Hi windy I think I found out the problem its when you use screensave, I had it running on xp this morning from 09.00 till 13.00 when I put the screensaver on and went out, when I came home about 16.00 and found that WD had crashed when I started WD again it downloaded from the weather station from around 13.00 and that is when it went on to screensave?. It also has lost all the previous data for that day.

It crash again today it seems that it runs for about four hours and then crash, I do not have this running 24/7. Could this be that it was running on window 7 computer and I moved it to a windows XP Pro computer ??. I Have the latest update.

Also check that there are no other power saving settings enabled, like powering down the disk or USB, slowing the CPU/memory, etc. any of those things will cause a problem for a program like WD that is continually collecting and storing data.

Update WD stopped working at 13.46 just after it had updated the rainfall.
Just got back in and found WD had crash again at 18.00.
It seems like every four hours.
Sunday crashed 13.30 and again 17.30
