I enabled the METAR download, and specifically told it not to use the data on my station - but it did anyway.
Just as well I saw it, or all my data would appear to come from the local RAAF (Airforce) base.

Maybe it can't. All I actually wanted was the METAR data to include on the website.

In your METAR Download settings you want to make sure that nothing is ticked under "Data from Metar"

Then further down tick Use the metar to update WD's main weather condition report.
