Clientraw stops uploading
« on: February 07, 2010, 05:42:04 PM »
Recently clientraw files have stopped to upload.

The error message is as follows:

--------------------
Will upload the files now
uploaded /home/timo/wdisplay/webfiles/clientraw.txt failed
Result 500 Unknown command
--------------------

After restart of WD, clientraw files are normally uploaded for a while (could be even days...), then suddenly stops. All other uploads work fine (CWOP, Weather Underground, database, hourly data). In the other thread it was suspected this has something to do with snow value input. We have winter indeed and I
keep the manual track of snow. (http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php/topic,41310.msg353870.html#msg353870)

Could it have something to do with your website your are FTPing the data to?

The 500 tells me you are connected but it has a problem.

My host provider is Bluehost. So far it has been very good.

The answer provided by the support was vague,  they are not able to see commands sent nor error. The only remedy provided was to change ftp client, which of course is not the case here.
