%recordhightempcurrentmonth% and %recordlowtempcurrentmonth%
« on: February 07, 2010, 03:40:24 PM »
I raised this issue a couple of years ago here,
http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php?action=post;topic=29580.30;num_replies=34, and has never been resolved

The tags %recordhightempcurrentmonth% and %recordlowtempcurrentmonth% are, as far as I am aware, supposed to record the high and low for each month from all your data, however these are always being overwritten with the current year/month high and low. I have to manually go in and amend these records each month  when this happens.

What was in my ini file for February has now been over written now with this years so instead of these tags reporting
14.6°C in 2009 as the all time highest February temp and
-5.1°C in 2009 as the all time lowest February temp, these are reporting my current February high of 9.8°C and low of -3.0°C as my all time February extremes.

You can see from my backup wdisplay.in file from 31st January, that the correct values were there, but these but these have now been overwritten. These is what happens every month.  It would be appreciated if this could be resolved

[Record monthly high temp]

feb year=2009
feb=146
feb day=27

[Record monthly low temp]
feb year=2009
feb=-51
feb day=7

Ini file from 7th Feb 2010 now overwitten with current feb high/low

[Record monthly high temp]

feb year=2010
feb=98
feb day=5

[Record monthly low temp]
feb year=2010
feb=-17
feb day=1

Currently running WD v10.37O build2

Cheers Brian , Will give it a go tonight. But obviously won't know if it works until any high / low extreme is broken for Feb this year.

Unfortunately, I cannot test this.....as all the latest versions of WD are doing the 'not responding' thing that I and a few others have reported in the thread  here

I can now report that still appears broken with me.  My all time March extremes have been 'overwritten' with current extremes from March2010, which are not the all time March extremes.
