Change the clientraw_dir to "../" and see if that helps.

I had tried it before, and another attempt just now did not work.

Try changing from "../" to just "/" and see what happens.

Thanks BigOkie, but no luck.  These are some of the inputs I have tried so far, some of which I didn't expect to work but I thought I would try anyway:
"/"
"./"
"../"
"/medfieldweather.com"
"./medfieldweather.com"
"medfieldweather.com/"
"http://medfieldweather.com/"

Did you try "//"
Vantage Vue (Firmware 2.14 EU)
WeatherDisplay 10.37R build 24
USB Weatherlink IP Data Logger

I had tried it before, and another attempt just now did not work.

I don't see a settings file:

http://medfieldweather.com/iwdl/iwdl_settings.js

It gives a 404 (page not found).
Did you rename it correctly? Is it readable by the webserver?

Regards,
Sietse

Thanks for your suggestion Weerstation, did not work due to my oversight on the file name, see below:

The file was not named correctly - I had left a . at the end of the file name.   :oops:
Also, to point to the correct directory for the clientraw file I ended up using "../"

Thank you Sieste, great script!

And thanks to everyone else who tried to help me out,
Paul

Sietse,

I think something ain't right if you go here and I checked your url too to be certain.

Go to Records of This Month and then check out the record for Rain per Hour.
Look at the time and date!

It says 12.6-2010-08  43:04

Hi Chris

See attached screendump from my HTC Hero running Android 2.2.

At first try it didnt load - but after a refresh it worked, but very very slow (about a minute) to load and there is a glitch down the bottom at the icons.

Best regards,

Henrik

Ps. My own site is very slow too on my HTC Hero:

Using http://www.ambientnd.com/iwdl my iPhone brought it up in ~12 seconds without any issues.

Excellent script! Running here:http://www.cavecountryweather.com/smartphone/
I am using the CarterLake template and I created a forecast page to use. (attached) Is there any way to make the iframe longer? I changed the settings here from 200 to 800 but still the same height. Never mind. It works on the itouch.

Code: [Select]
} else {
        $("#fc").html("<iframe frameborder='no' scrolling='auto' width='275px' height='800px' src='" + settings["forecast_url"] + "'></iframe>");
        $("#fcref").html("<center>" + settings["forecast_from"] + "</center>");
    }

hello..

Thanks for checking.

I also wanted to note, incase someone new here was not aware of this...it is possible to see the IWDL pages using Firefox by simply browsing to their own IWDL page. for example by going here:

http://www.yoursite.com/iwdl

...with firefox, but not with IE8

But it still helps if someone with an actual iphone or Android can double check with their actual cell phones.

Thanks...Chris
