I agree. I use FF and was getting a scroll bar with the forecast iframe. The frame is the correct size on my daughters itouch.

Is there any way to add pages linked from the home page?

First of all, I'd like to thank you for the great scripts!  :D

But, there's an error in Month Records. The day-time format in Rain Hour value is totally wrong.

I've also made the Greek translation! Here's the translation file: http://www.meteothes.gr/public/iwdl_lang_el.rar.
You have to add the Greek language in the settings file (iwdl_settings.js), by modifying this line like this:

settings["all_langs"] = [ "cz", "de", "dk", "en", "el", "fi", "fr", "hu", "it", "nl", "no", "pt", "se", "sp" ];

You can look how the Greek translation looks like, here:

The date-time format bug is known, thanks for reporting anyway.
And a big thanks for your greek translation.

It looks like it is going to rain on sunday, so instead of go out and fly around, I may have some time on my hands to do some work on iWDL.

Re: Weather Display Live for the iPhone and Android -> Yr.no Forecast Issue
« Reply #289 on: August 15, 2010, 07:41:39 AM »
Hi!

And thanks for this software!

However, I have issue with forecasts in Finland. Somehow locations in Finland have this tilde & 6 digit number behind url's and that seems to break forecast. For example, forecast in Helsinki can be found at address:
http://www.yr.no/sted/Finland/Southern_Finland/Helsinki~658225/

So, is this bug or do I have modify the url somehow?

But it still helps if someone with an actual iphone or Android can double check with their actual cell phones.
Chris, one easy and great way to check the display of the script is to use the Apple Safari browser (there is even one version for Windows) ... so one does not even need to have a phone...  :wink:

Hi
Just delete tilde and digits in url. At least I have been able to clean all my links.

Using Finland/Southern_Finland/Helsinki really should work.
What is the URL for your iwdl?

Well, there were two layers of clouds and no rain, so I did some aerobatics flying between the cloud layers. No iWDL update today :(

I dropped those numbers off from the URL but they still existed on the xml file downloaded from yr.no. Could this be reason for this?

I am not sure what you mean - 'still existed on the xml file downloaded from yr.no'.
What is your setting for settings["yr.no"] ? It should be Finland/Southern_Finland/Helsinki

I just tested it in my development environment and that works.

I meant this:

Code: [Select]
<links>
<link id="xmlSource" url="http://www.yr.no/place/Finland/Southern_Finland/Helsinki~658225/forecast.xml"/>
<link id="overview" url="http://www.yr.no/place/Finland/Southern_Finland/Helsinki~658225/"/>
</links>

This propably doesnt mean anything, I mentioned it just in case.

My setting  for forecast looks like this:
settings["yr.no"] = "Finland/Southern_Finland/Helsinki/";

Could I debug iWDL somehow in my browser, if there are any errors launched by it?
