Hi Brian

My uploaded .wmv files at 23:53 to my server have a "no" in the filename and the month is missing - all files are being made correct in my local directory "alldayvideo" with correct date.

Hi Steffen

Im running WD 10.37P build 20 and the month is exchanged with "no" in datestamped alldayvideo files on the webserver too. Its correct in the alldayvideofolder.

Best regards,

Henrik

Hi Brian

Last night I downloaded a new version of moviemaker.exe (from the link you sent Steffen Herlev-DK)

I can confirm that its working - the videolastday has the correct datestamp and is uploaded without any problems.  :D :D :D

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Henrik

Sounds good to me, I will give it a try later, So its creating and uploading the 20100305dayvideo.wmv
and yesterday.wmv ok?

do you use the videolasthour.wmv and videolastday.wmv if so are they ok as well?

Sorry, one more, do you know what time the 20100305dayvideo.wmv is being created and upload
both please?

Its just that the old version is working very well for me at present and i dont want to dive in feet 1st lol
Kind regards

Hi again Simon

I dont use videolasthour.wmv - but videolastday.wmv works great - it is created during the day at 11 minutes past the hour and uploaded when creation is finished.

The datestamped file and yesterday wmv's are created 23:54 and uploaded right after creation. (Set to hour 23 in WD webcam setup)

Hope the above makes sense - please feel free to ask if you need more information.

Best regards,

Henrik

Please forgive me for not reading through this whole thread.

My question is:  Have the bugs been worked out on this upgrade where I should consider downloading it?  Right now I have 10.37P build 5.  I haven't had any problems with my videos being produced, but if it can do it "much faster and much less cpu", I'm all for it.  I appreciate all that Brian does, but don't want to open a can of worms.

Thanks,

Traj

I tried the new version, it is a lot faster but did find a few negatives, might be peculiar to my set up but it was enough to make me revert back to the old version
1) multiple copies of moviemaker.exe were left running under services
2) I ended up with larger wmv file sizes
3) I felt the picture quality not up to the old version
As I said this might be peculiar to my setup, and of course Brian might have sorted things out since I last tried
I'll be interested to hear how you get on if you take the plunge.
