As requested, this is what I saw…

Linux RH 9.1 and RH 3.0 as

The above plus:

I am unable to get FTP uploads to work (direct connect).
WD hangs up after five or ten minutes and it must be killed and restarted.

version 3.1 is available from
http://www.weather-display.com/downloads/WeatherDlinux.zip
(i.e the zip of the executable)
fixes alot of above, but I am still to do more work on the degress symbol issue

also, the control panel and view panel now looks like it supposed to…there was a setting incorrect, which is set wrong with the port from the windows version

Quick question on the Linux version. Does it support the new Flash/Live interface?

I believe that the only thing the flash uses is the clientraw.txt, which can not currently be made with Linux WD. But maybe if we ask nicely brian will take a look

actualy, it can produce the clientraw.txt file
tick to produce that in the ftp/internet setup, client/server setup
but I need to add in the extra data needed for the graphing for the svg viewer
and then the file will be updated in the webfiles folder (which you can set)

you are correct as always brian… that is odd, i never produced the clientraw.txt that way in the win verion, i always used the custome interenet settings, LOL you learn something every day
