I also had to change the url for the one image: from http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/SWN/mlso_halpha_sm.gif   to  http://download.hao.ucar.edu/d5/www/latestsmall.disk.gif . It looks like NOAA stopped carrying that image but HAO, where it was coming from, still displays it at the second url.

That's at line 140 in the image-space-solar-disk.php script, that'll get rid of the error 18.
You might have to go in and kill off the cached.jpg/gif files and the output jpg/gif files and let them recreate if they have been corrupted.
Great! That fixed my Error 18, which I was just getting ready to ask about.

Thanks, George.

Got script running eventually (e-rice server) the only image that is not working is the Mauna Loa Solar image, I've noticed some sites have it working and some not, any ideas

Have suddenly started picking up the old Error 019  messages - all images below the 3 of the sun - they're OK.

Thoughts appreciated.

Error 019: could not connect to remote image. I do not know why yours is doing that. My site works OK.

All the other sites I checked are working OK as well. No idea what's happening here.

Thanks.

Worked for 1 day, now it's back to 019 errors again. Very disappointing.

I changed the script around to keep all the images and scripts in the wxspace folder. I hate to have more files in the root than needed. All you have to do is upload the zip file and extract it in the root folder. It puts the wxspace.php in the root and all other files in the wxspace folder.

get it here: www.northwoods.net/cedargrove/upload/wxspace.zip

But what adjustments does one make, if all of the files for the saratoga templates are in the subroot folder "wx"?
