ERROR: Invalid floating point operation at time/date
« on: May 01, 2004, 04:10:40 PM »
On April 27th at midnight my 10.10m crashed.  I was out of town, I returned, cleared the weather station's memory, cleaned invalid data from the log files, updated to 10.10t.

The error occurs every minute on the minute.   I cannot make it stop.

Any ideas.   I'm sure it is curropt data somewhere.

try:
exit wd, then delete the datafile (s) latest.inf, or latestindoor.inf, or graphdata.inf or graphdata2.inf or graphdata3.inf
then restart wd

My remote system crashed and now gives the floating point error when restarted. I did as suggested above but it doesn't solve the problem. Now what  :?

the other thing to try is:
install to a new directory, with a file called 2wd.txt there....in that directory...
then it should fire up ok, like brand new
then copy over the datafiles, one at a time, from the list above, until you find which one is the culprit (this will take a while though :(

OK, I give the 2nd iteration a try. Is there anything obvious that I would see if I look in the data files?

Thank goodness for VNC remote access  :)

or any graphdata files that are big in size?

Deleting the June files got rid of the divide by zero but the VP download wouldn't abort and always crashed WD. I installed in a new folder, that ran OK, copied over all the data files through May '04 and it's still OK. Now I'm trying to get the web stuff working as it was before and figuring out what I've lost

Done, I sent you all the files that had a June 2004 created or modified date, not sure if the dates come through the zip process.
