Heads up - New Keyspan Driver for Snow Leopard
« on: October 08, 2009, 10:54:13 AM »
 Hi All,
As I mentioned in a previous post, I figured there may be some driver related issues in Snow Leoprd for those using the Keyspan drivers, and decided not to update the station's PC until I saw what Keyspan was doing. I think some minor issues in the forum are related to the Keyspan drivers and not necessarily WD Mac. :propellerhead:

TrippLite (Keyspan's new owner) has now updated their driver for Snow Leopard

It covers these models:  USA-19HS, USA-49WG, USA-28XG & UPR-112G Keyspan Driver

NOTE: From reading Keyspan's install info on their website, it seems VERY inmportant to uninstall the previous driver using the Keyspan serial assistant, as well as installing the new driver WITH THE KEYSPAN ADAPTER DISCONNECTED from the MAc until the install is complete. I think this is just to ensure the adapter is properly registered with the software after install, but good practice anyway.

Here is the new driver link:
(Look for the Snow Leopard specific driver near the bottom of the page)
http://www.tripplite.com/en/products/model.cfm?txtModelID=3914

Now I can update the office machine to SL  :

Hope this helps,   :hathat29:
