Hello, This clientraw.txt upload failure upload problem is resurfacing again, I'm not sure why:

Dec 23 23:57:13 macintosh [0x0-0x16016].com.company.WeatherD[170]: Will upload the files now
Dec 23 23:57:13 macintosh [0x0-0x16016].com.company.WeatherD[170]: uploaded /Library/Application Support/wdisplay/webfiles/clientraw.txt failed
Dec 23 23:57:13 macintosh [0x0-0x16016].com.company.WeatherD[170]: Result 500

Looking back on changes I have made in the last week or so I have started to use the email feature of WD and also inputing snow levels. I will stop both to see if that helps. Also upgraded to build 33 a couple of weeks ago. Since then I have been having a nagging error message in Console:

Dec 23 23:57:04 macintosh WeatherD[170]: CGImageCreate: invalid integer bits/component: 0.
Dec 23 23:57:04 macintosh [0x0-0x16016].com.company.WeatherD[170]: Wed Dec 23 23:57:04 macintosh.home WeatherD[170] <Error>: CGImageCreate: invalid integer bits/component: 0

I may go back to build 27 which was working pretty good for me if I can't figure this out in short order.

One thing I don't understand is how each update to WD, while introducing a new feature or fix, it also seems to break something else in the process. Maybe the new restructuring of the Mac version of Weather Display mentioned in another post will work towards stabilizing this issue. WD for Mac is a tremendously versatile program that cannot be matched by others for what it can do. Understandably there will be bumps here and there, this is just one that will be overcome. Thank you Windy for such a great program.

Hi Paul,

The snow input will probably be the issue here. I found that when I input the snow as a decimal, it affected the daily reset and gave me the invalid integer error. Especially when I chose "increase all by amount"

However everything functioned normally when I input whole numbers only in each of the "today, month, season, and current" fields. My mail is working great so this is probably the one that affected your setup. When I had the snow input issue, my clientraw stopped updating overnight for 6 hours. Once I went in and changed my input in the snow (I quit WD,  checked and corrected Snow  in the wdisplay.ini or wdisplayftp.ini file as well) then the issue disappeared and clientraw resumed after the start.

Here is the setting I used in wdisplay.ini:
yesterday snow today cm=0

and the settings in wdisplayftp.ini:
new snow today in2=0
new snow month in=0
new snow season in=0
use on main=no
do not clear snow=no
show snow on main=no
show scroll=no
show scroll2=no
new snow today cm2=10
new snow month cm=14
new snow season cm=17
new snow today in=0
new snow today cm=0

Mine are metric so you'll want to zero them and use the corresponding english/us settings above them.

Hope this helps
Season's Greetings,
Jim

Thanks Jim, and Hugh for the pm.

I'll look at the input settings more closely.  Another issue I have is with the snow days for the month and snow days for the year, they stopped after one count for some reason. I'm sure it's something I did along the way.

For the moment it's time to join the family for Christmas.  Merry Christmas to all, thanks for always being there to help me out.

Paul
