WD’ primary ftp client most likely just retried when a connection could not be established. I am not sure about Clientraw realtime ftp. I don’t want to suggest there is something wrong here.
Good suggestions. I have emailed GoDaddy support. They are usually very good about responding within 5 or so hours. Will await something in writing and stop messing about.
While this has been going on, the ISP’s tech support crews (with bucket trucks) seem to have been busy tweeking amplifier gains(?). I have had the new cable modem COX provided for several days.
