Problem setting Icons in Build 18

Hi

I have set up WD for linux using ubuntu 9.04 and am having problems getting the weather icon to show on the main and summary pages.

Should the WMR200 be able to set the weather icon like the WMR928 does or is this not possible ?

I am using the solar sensor option to set the description but all I get is the solar description. When it rains it does not change to Raining / stopped raining etc.  Under normal conditions the word 'Dry' is not displayed either

It may be that I have not ticked a box I should have. Any help would be appreciated.

ok, i see that its not showing for the summary image
is that for the web image
i.e does it show in WD itself, under view,summary image, though?
also do you see all the icons under input daily weather?

I will have to check though to see if I have allowed the icon from the forecast icon from the wmr200 to work though

Hi Brian,

No the image doesn't show under view , summary image either. Also I have noticed this weekend that the windy icon will set but when the wind calms down it doesn't go after the 4 minute timeout ?

I have checked the icons are loaded under the Input Daily Weather tag and no boxes are ticked in their.

Also , what would you recommend as the correct settings for the rain icon to display as this never appears and we had a lot of rain past 48 hrs ?

Sorry to bring all these problems out at once but it seems I have a common icon theme issue !

Icons are working again on summary page !

Loaded WD on a spare Linux laptop at work and played around with the .INI files.  It seems that my wdisplayftp.ini was corrupt as when removed and re-created the icons are now appearing and the word 'Dry' for no rain etc...

The issue I had with memory and swap being eaten up to 100% after 24 hours has also disappeared so very pleased
