That is strange because I clicked on the link in thread for 2.0. So I need to download version 2.0 again.

Chuck

Possibly yes. I don't know what happened. Sorry for any inconvenience.
I did have to upload the file a few times tonight while I was updating the readme instructions with all the tips I gained from this discussion.
Since what you have is working, you do not have to upgrade right away or anything.

This is the latest download file:
I just tested it.

Maybe your web browser is caching the old file?

Download:
http://www.642weather.com/weather/scripts/whos-online.zip
when you open the zip, all the php files should have today's date, also the readme.txt has version 2.00 near the top.
the changelog.txt should show 2.00

I just cleared my private data from FF and closed and reopened and downloaded it again and it is still showing 12/31 for the date. #-o I don't get it why it is doing that. I even deleted all the old files that I downloaded.

The modified date is still 12/31 for the whos-online.php file. Just want to make sure we are on the same page Mike.

Chuck, when you unzip the files, are you unzipping to a different location. Also is you extraction program set to overwrite existing files?

I use 7-Zip. After I download the file I double click it to open the zip file it opens up with 7-Zip. There is no setting's that I see. That's where I see the date of the file. I don't even extract it because I can see the date.

where are you downloading the file to? Check the time and date on the downloaded file itself. I suspect that you keep opening an old file and not the current one. Just for the heck of it, when you download it, d/load to your desktop. That way you will know its a new file.
