Error in average/extreme
« on: November 12, 2008, 03:41:57 PM »
Hi!
I have a mistake after one of the latest updates. They are not the same data in Averages / Extremes and Records.
I think there are more colleagues from the Spanish network Meteoclimatic to confirm this.

Best regards

the all time records uses the instantenous data
but the averages/extremes information uses the 1 minute averaged logged data
(so hence the differences)

Really ???  This 'confuses' me.  Surely a maximum is a maximum is a maximum. The label on the Averages/Extremes report says 'Maximum Temperature',  so surely this is what it should be reporting, ie the actual top temperature recorded throughout a day, and therefore agree with the value as reported on the 'Monthly'/yearly/all time extremes...
