I have been through every screen in WD's control panel, and for the life of me I can not figure out what is creating this file on my remote server...." 1826jpgwebcam.jpg" obviously the first four digits change based on time...I do have a webcam, but it's only supposed to be creating webcamimage.jpg...I can't find anything else in the control panel that would be creating this..I do have a webcam on WU...these files just keep appearing and I keep deleting them...I would really like to shut them down if at all possible...

Wess - that is part of the TimeStamped file structure used in the video creation.  If you go to [Control Panel] - [Web files/web page] - [Webcam], in there is a setup for these timestamped files.  HTH...

I checked the "webfiles/webpage setup" and the only place I found any mention of webcam was in the webfiles setup #1 "Title of webcam image" = "latest web cam image" and I apparently can't delete that,I tried, although I don't believe that is what is writing these files....still digging though, I'll find something somewhere..I hope.. That was checked also..may be the entire problem, but I also had just found that control panel..webcam...time stamped files setup...had various things checked that I turned off in particular "use a jpeg image for the web image at graph time"...I will check the server files in the am, but I think between what I found and what you just pointed out ( now un ticked ) I believe the problem may be resolved..
