Edit weather dials
« on: October 01, 2008, 05:30:36 AM »
Hi
I inadvertantly edited the weather dials dials and now cannot even see most of them in the edit screen. A previous answer to a similar post some time ago was to remove a line in the ini file in the registry. I am aware that this file now resides on the WD directory but cannot find the correct line to edit.
Here is the body of previous post from Windy.
Hi
they are out of whack after you customised them
you can reset all that customisation by doing this:
run regedit.exe
then search for wdisplayftp.ini in the regsitry (edit, find)
then highlight the key
dials screen custom
and delete that
then restart wd (do the above when wd is not running)
i will add a reset for the weather dials customisation to advanced /misc setup

I tried resetting as above but still is not right.

Any suggestions ??.

Cheers

Greg, follow the pics below - shut down and Save WD,  Run - Regedit and then follow the two actions, then delete that key - dials screen custom - and WD will rebuild it later with default values when it restarts. So next is to restart WD...  that should do it.
