Yes - that's good - that means that WD sees the various elements of the 1-wire circuit and will read in the data.  Now in the humidity sensors listed on left there should be a ROM ID. copy that and then paste it into the Solar tab, then save again and see if the solar tab developes a number.  Tick Use new calculation.

Go to the Extra temp/humidity tab and if there is a second humidity ROM ID (the same one) in there, delete that number, and go back to the Dallas main screen and save again.  Check the Solar tab for a number.

If it is dark. shine a torch on it... Wink

Once you get a number there, then you can go to the Solar Icon on Control Panel and setup things in there.  You need to enter your Long and Lat again (not if already done on that tab).

Good luck.

TokKiwi,

Please see below the extract from my wdisplay.ini, that shows the Rom ID's.  Does this look correct?
And should I now be able to see a temp.. reading from the sensor on extra #5?
Also dow I need to make any changes to the 1wire Port setup?  Please see image

Hi Wood Ant - I would shut WD down Save and Exit, then change these two around: ie, put the number where the NULL is and place NULL on the ID 5 one.

Extra temp ROM ID=NULL
Extra temp ROM ID 5=BB0008018A2EA310

And also the humidity change 5 with 2 and then restart.

The Com Port port must be right because it works for your Lightning Counter and leaf wetness I guess.

And then restart WD, and follow my guide for the Dallas setup after that.

Here's hoping - I gotta go out now.  I hope you have some success.  I posted some screens in another thread about the solar sensor, try and find them...

Cheers

TokKiwi,
Thanks for help.

I have made the changes you suggested.  What I have not worked out is WD put's this setup ROM ID's in?
Do you know if I need to place a Rom Id in the 1wire extra temp..sensor page to be able to use the 1wire sensor as ex #5?

Regards Wood Ant

It's the humidity sensor you need to focus on and use that ROMID for the Solar Sensor tab of Dallas Setup. No matter which position it finds itself in.
