Hobbyboards 1wire Solar Sensor with Teperature Sensor
« on: September 06, 2008, 09:34:56 PM »
High All,
I recently purchased the above.
And its causing me problems with WD using WMR200 with extra sensors.
My problem is that the 1wire Temp is being reported twice in the 1wire set up.
See Image.
I,ve have spent some time trying different set up in WD to stop this sensor from being used as extra sensor 2 with out luck.

Is there a fix so it can be setup as another extra sensor like 5 or 6 so freeing up ex-sensor 2

Please help

Hi
Try writing something else like xxx instead of the rom id you want to remove and click on save/reset on the main/save setup page and see if that works.

yes, exactlty
also, wood ant, did you see that I have now fixed,  by the looks, the floating point error around sunrise/set with the 1 wire solar and setting to plot max solar curve?

Thanks all for the replies.

WD put the ROM number in both boxes, not me.
I have now replaced BB0008018A2EA310 with XXX in extra sensor#1, how ever WD has still put the rom in #5, #6 & #10 after I restart WD.

Thanks Windy I did notice the fix.

Windy,
I removed all enteries from the 1wire set up screens and saved. Then restarted and then entries were still there.
I closed WD and looked at wdisplay.ini and foung the extra sensor rom id were still there. So I removed them from ini file, saved the changes and restarted WD. All now OK.

note that setting to blank is not going to work in WD ,instead, set to say, the word, NULL

Windy.
I can not see anything on that setup page that says that, and I place the ID in #5
The 1wire main page shows the rom ID number.
See Below

Wood Ant - I believe Windy is asking about what might be seen in the white pane to the right on that picture, it should roll through there and check for button ID's and then indicate what it has loaded.

As seen in this pic by Budgie:

If you don't get those responses, then there is something in the Com Port setup that is wrong.  Please post a pic of those.
